• Hi, Everyone! My name is Betty and I’m new to WordPress and a total novice with CSS, PHP, and all that other good stuff…

I know someone out there can tell me an easy way to make the links for the RSS Feed for Comments and the “Trackback” links become icons. I know how to do it in HTML with no problem but I am totally lost with all these new style sheets and functions and templates…I didn’t realize it would be this complicated. I’m using the WordPress Classic Theme…I’ve just doctored it up a little. I’d be grateful if someone can tell me WHAT I have to enter and WHERE I have to enter it in the code….I think if I do it once, I’ll be able to figure it out myself next time.

I’ve been sitting here for hours looking through the support info but I can’t find anything easy enough for me to understand. I’m a grandmom who decided that she wanted her very own domain and now I’m wondering if I should have just kept knitting!

I’m not even sure if I’m posting this right…why does everything on WordPress have to be coded…does WYSIWYG still exist nowadays? I haven’t done this in quite a few years but I guess I never thought HTML would go away and I really didn’t realize that WordPress wasn’t really user friendly…or is it and I just have to stick with it for awhile? I didn’t learn HTML overnight either but it didn’t take that long and I got pretty good at it…will that happen with my WordPress code too or am I just wishful thinking?

Anyway, thanks in advance for your help and I’m glad you’re all here for people like me!
