[Resolved] RSS Feed Error

  • All of a sudden my rss feed is not working.

    I get the following error message

    XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
    Location: http://www.breakthroughecommerce.com/library/feed/
    Line Number 2, Column 1:<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>

    I’ve tried the fix rss plugin, but it doesn’t fix anything.

    I’ve tried removing the space from the rss2.php files, no luck.

    I’ve tried doing a fresh install, same problem.

    Thing is it was working, and now it’s not.

    This is driving me mad.

    @kmessinger

    Feed looks fine there in IE7

    Aha,

    so that means it’s probably a Firefox problem.

    At least I can stop worrying about trying to fix WP itself.

    Still needs fixing though.

    @kmessinger

    It is fine in FF 3.07 also.

    Sorry, I usually test for both but got in a hurry. Don’t forget that FF just show excerpts.

    Probably a cache problem on your machine.

    Gawd,

    I spent half the night trying to fix this and all the time it was !@#$%^ browser caching issue?

    Many thanks kmessinger
