RSS feed doesn’t work after update to WP 4.7

    A couple of days before I made an update to WordPress 4.7. Since then my RSS feeds gives me an error: “Database connection error”. I’m not using plugins for RSS. Also I have installed W3C Total Cache v.0.9.4.1 (before update there’s no problem with that).
    Please, help me to resolve that

    Hi,

    Same here. I had to revert all 4 of my websites back to 4.6 – now all my RSS feeds are working as they had prior to update. Hoping for a revised update til then.

    We have the same problem
    I use a plugin Series Engine which produces a RSS feed and updates our iTunes podcast.

    This no longer works since upgrading to WordPress 4.7

    Wordpress is returning an HTML page some of the time, and other times, it is correctly formatted. Why the Feed is switching formats?

    Similar problem. After update with 4.7.2 RSS doesn’t work at all.
    I just create a new event on my website but rss doesn’t register the new one.

    May exist a workaround? WP 4.7.2 Bug?

    When I check the RSS’s xml page, I can see only the old events… No RSS plugins.
    I use the RSS Feed Reader with ANSA website and my website events and on ANSA feed it works fine.
