# RSS Error — Help!

 * Hi All —
 * I finally got around to dealing with setting up the rss feed on my [site](http://spinozarods.com/).
   When I clicked on it in firefox it worked okay, but when I tried google chrome
   and opera, I got an error. I then checked it in a feedvalidator and it said that
   there was an xml parsing error.
 * Any idea of what might be going on and how I might be able to fix it?

 * Is there any way of telling what part of the site has been corrupted based on
   that source code? I’m fairly new to WP and could use some help. I did a number
   of the suggestions from those links (new passwords, DB backup, WP update to 2.8.6,
   etc…) but am wondering if there are other things that might help…
 * UPDATE: I’ve taken a closer look — isn’t that code at the bottom just the code
   from Google Analytics?

 * You seem to have cleaned out whatever was inserting the code. It definitely wasn’t
   Google Analytics. Apart from the fact that I can recognise that code, 30-50 (
   apparently) random, single word links to rather dubious looking urls inside a
   hidden div rendered **after** the `</html>` isn’t really Google’s style.

 * I think it might have been the WP update that did it, but I’m not sure.
    I didn’t
   spot those in the source code when I gave it a quick glance, but I’m not overly
   practiced in recognizing bugs and hacks and so forth…
