  • Hi all – At my blog,, I have an RSS button in my left sidebar linked to my FeedBurner feed. For the wording I have next to it, though, “Get Fed,” I can’t seem to get the link to work. No matter what I do, it keeps defaulting to the main page of my blog.

I don’t know if it’s because it’s in a text widget or not, but my other sidebar links work, and I’m using the same format: <a href="">Get Fed</a>

It has nothing to do with the recent migration to a Google account, because it has never worked. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Hi There are two links in that code, one for the image, one for the text Get Fed. The Get Fed link has the wrong url as the HREF. You said this is a text widget – you should modify the text.

Thanks for your reply. Where are you looking? I’m confused as usual. Thanks.

Wondering if anyone could help me on this. I have put the code above in the text widget, but it doesn’t work and it’s gone again next time I go into the widget. I know I must be missing something simple. Help? Thanks!

I think you need something like this in the Title of your widget.

    <a class='rsswidget' href='' title='Syndicate this content'><img style='background:orange;color:white;border:none;' width='14' height='14' src='' alt='RSS' /></a> <a class='rsswidget' href='' title='American Idol predictions and commentary. Even the cats are in on this one.'>Get Fed</a>

That did it – thank you so much! Code certainly is my weakness. One of my weaknesses. 🙂
