Support » Plugin: Seriously Simple Podcasting » RSS broken fore Firefox?

  • Hi there everyone,

I’ve set up the plugin, the RSS looks and works fine for Chrome and Explorer.

Is anyone else having issues with the RSS looking right in Firefox?

Mine is completely broken and showing code/html instead of the cover image and player etc.

It would have been nice if the podcast roll could also be published on a page like blog post too, but it doesn’t seem to be possible?

Thanks for your help team, just left a review to support the plugin too 🙂 Sam

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi there. In looking at your feed in Firefox I do see the issue you’re describing. It seems to be pulling in some of the raw html from your posts, is that right? This might be a result of some theme functionality in how it displays this information. Do you have access to a staging or development site where you could test out a stock WordPress theme and how it displays the feed page? Not seeing this behavior on our test and production sites that we run with different themes.

As for a place to display the episodes you should be able to use the built in /podcast page which for you is at as a page that lists all of your podcast episodes. The feed page is really only for podcast directories/aggregators to use to consume info about your podcast.

and thanks so much for the kind words in your review…totally makes our day!
