RSS aggregator that DOESN'T use simplepie???

    Hello, I need an RSS aggregator to post newsfeeds from multiple blogs on my homepage that DOESN’T use simplepie at it’s core. I get ERROR 500 anytime I try to activate a plugin which uses simplepie. I’m at my wits end. I can’t find any sort of plugin that works that does what I want. Any ideas?
