# RSS

 * Hi –
 * I’m new to wordpress. I found the feed URL for my picasa album. I entered it 
   in. Is it supposed to be just the image names linked? Or should I see photos?
   How would I get the picasa photos to show instead of just the links?

 * I log into WordPress and go to Design and then click on Widgets and then I select
   the RSS option and then insert the URL for the RSS feed.

 * It gives me the option of how many I would like to display. I have it set to 
   6. Then it gives me the option to display the author and the date. I can also
   select display item content. When I do that though I get just HTML garble.

 * When I try to input that link this is what I get:
 * Error: could not find an RSS or ATOM feed at that URL.
 * The URL that’s given for RSS feeds at Picasa is:

 * No, the http part is right.
 * However, the RSS widget only shows linked titles, not content. So in the case
   of a Picasa feed, you’d only get the image names.
 * Also, the “content” of a Picasa feed is a rather annoying bit of HTML tables.
   This is the fault of Picasa and its weird feeds.
 * If you want Picasa pictures in a widget, find a Picasa widget plugin instead.
