RSS 2 not valid Feed broken need it for Google News

    Hello,

    I’m checking my feed rrs2 and it’s not valid con w3 validator. Anyone could help me to fix it? I need it to submit to google news.

    There are a couple things you might do…

    Since the error occurs further down in the feed and seems to be related to a certain item (a post)—

    1. you might change the feed item from full to summary
    2. you might reduce the number of items in the ‘syndication feed’ to just one and see if that passes. Then raise the number by one or two until you get a failure.
    3. you might just wait a few days for new content to supplant the old and try again.

    Dashboard –> Settings –> Reading and raise or lower the ‘Syndication feeds show the most recent’ –>number<–

    You might also try editing the ‘offending item’ in the feed via the post editor to change the text or link but that’s often a real pain.
