RPC problem … i think

Hi folks,

I’ve just installed the Feedwordpress plugin

It works fine on my EasyPHP powered test server – but when i upload it to my working server I get the following error

Sending ping to http://chris.lineages.co.uk/mehopa/xmlrpc.php&#8230;

The XML-RPC ping failed (remote): Sorry. I don’t syndicate tag:radgeek.com/projects/feedwordpress/.

Looking at the code the error is thrown up when it gets an fopen error comming from a call to

weblogUpdates.ping

Called in functions.php function weblog_ping

Now the fact that it works okay on my test server suggests to me that theres an error in the config of my server and wordpress.

Any suggestions will be gratefully recieved
