# Rows import not complete – debug

 * Hi, Tobias. I read your plugin support forum and found some articles about this
   topic. I understand, that if there is an problem with not complete import, the
   cause is in missing resources or memory. But how can I debug the specific cause–
   PC, server, hosting … ? I’m very interested in TablePress plugin use, but my 
   dataset (.csv) has 8600 rows … and the result of my import is 1200 🙁 Thanx in
   advance, Duski.

 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * Did you get any errors during the import? It’s a bit strange that you only got
   1200 rows of a 8600 row file, without errors…
 * Can you maybe try importing the table in chunks, e.g. 1000 rows at a time, and
   choosing to append to the TablePress table? (You would have to first create a
   CSV file for each chunk of 1000 rows in e.g. Excel or a text editor.)

 * Thank you for your response, Tobias.
 * No errors during import.
 * But I realized this four steps:
    – reduced number of columns – closed all unnecesarry
   browser tabs – cleared browser cache – increased memory_limit in php.ini to 256M
 * Now I was able to import all 8600 rows 🙂
    What do you mean, which step helped?

 * great to hear that it worked now!
 * My guess would be the memory limit, but then I would have expected an error message
   before that change… But well – The important news is that it worked 🙂
