Row height on drag / width

EXAMPLE: I want to move a page down one place.

There is a thread here that another users had issues with.

Basically I have several hundred pages and when I enable drag the width of the column changes which often times makes the title wrap on all the page titles. This throws off the entire page scroll, so I have to gingerly work the bottom of my browser to get to where I started and then drop underneath the previous location.

I’d love to know a fix for this. I have turned off all meta fields in an attempt to solve and it does help but doesn’t solve it.
