routing doesn’t work with WPML multilanguage site

Hi,

I have a multilanguage site using WPML plugin. No multisite installation, just using WPML.

Each language has it’s own language slug appended to the url in format
http://domain.com/en/ or http://domain.com/de/
EN for english language is default.

Copying files and tables with the staging plugin worked perfect. No error messages.

But the routing doesn’t work. It tries to point me to http://domain.com/en/stage/wp-login.php which results in a 404
The right url would be http://domain.com/stage/wp-login.php which shows the login dialog but with most ressources (scripts, images,…) missing, due to the same routing problem.

Is there any solution yet to use this wonderfull plugin with the WPML plugin? Can I e.g. specifiy the baseurl somewhere?

I would love to use the staging plugin in this project.
