    I have a rogue popup with a timer that loads when you initially visit my website. I can’t seem to find where it’s coming from. Can someone please help me identify it. It’s just a random quote from Jewel with a timer.

    Hello, tcollie, & welcome. You’ve got a quote of the day plugin that’s generating that code. Deactivate it & all will be well.

    The modal window that opens on your site with the quote appears to be similar to that plugins functions. If you visit the plugin site you will see similar/same behavior: http://wpquoteoftheday.com/

    [edit – edit] just an afterthought – i noticed that some of your directories are not protected from casual browsing. You may want to look into the
    “Options -Indexes” directive for your htaccess file to prevent that.
