I’m working on getting one or more advertisers for my blog, MonmouthParkBlog.com. My question is, does anyone have any idea how banner ad pricing works for rinky-dink sites like mine? I think $300 for a year is gonna be the price, but my fantasy would be to get at least a few more advertisers, and have it be a rotating ad, i.e. a different random one come up each time the site is hit. But obviously, each additional advertiser I get would dilute the value of existing advertisers’ ads. I was thinking of saying $300, and I’ll rebate (say for example) 10% if I get 5 advertisers and another 10% if I get 10. Or I guess the alternative is some form of pricing based on click-throughs, but I suspect that’s more involved than I want to get with this thing. Any ideas? Thanks!
