Root Profiles Still Showing?

    Hi,

    Thanks for this plugin- I’ve been searching and searching for something like this!!

    I installed and activated the plugin, then selected to hide root profiles but the usernames are still showing up in the url. Am I doing something wrong? I also uploaded a default avatar and disabled @mentions and both of those are working.

    Curious if the value is being changed either before or after we’re setting it. There is a BP_ENABLE_ROOT_PROFILES constant that will run and return before our filtering even gets done. If that’s set to false, then it’ll be false.

    Also, any filters on the bp_core_enable_root_profiles filter that run after ours, can affect the end result as well.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply- I realized my mistake – I thought the plugin would hide both “/members” and my username from the url, not just /members. So it is working, but not as I was hoping it would.

    Makes sense that that misunderstanding could happen. Hopefully the plugin still proves useful as a whole, though.

    Yes, definitely useful-it makes a lot of things so much easier!
