Root directory home.html file blank…?

  • I use google apps for mail.

I am trying to get my site to show up. I don’t know how to get
A home.html file to pull up my page.

I created a file and could only have the text IN in the file appear.

I don’t even know how to code correctly and have tried reinstalling and many variations.

  • WordPress install with index.php as the default page, can I ask why/what you are trying to do with the home.html exactly?

If you just need the home.html to load before the index.php, you should be able to specify that at you hosting provider or set a default page in your htaccess file if need be.

I am not quite sure how I ended up here.

I have google apps manage the mail side and a new host to manage everything else.

I have the google set up and works marvelous. yay.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and used no plugins, and some plugins, etc.

The only reason I was editing the home.html file was because the site wasnt showing up.

I have one click install with the host and perhaps thats the problem.

At this point, I think I will transfer all of my stuff to multisite but they are their own domains. my project keeps getting larger and bigger.

I think it may be best to simply delete everything and start over. argh.
