I wanted to add that I am also having a problem with the roles and capabilities not applying correctly for users. I have given rights to Editors and Authors to manage document, but neither role is able to see the link to “Memphis Docs” in the left-side menu. Also, it looks like the display area under “Roles and Capabilities” has the checkboxes to mark off which roles have rights, but there is no explanation of what rights are being assigned (it looks like the text for the roles just isn’t displaying).

I’m sorry. I also wanted to add that I had a user with the “Author” role assigned who had done a document update last week with no issues at all. Now, after the update to v3.8.5.1, he also is not able to see the menu link for “Memphis Docs”.
Temporary solution right now for me was to rollback to a previous version of the plugin.
I know of the issue and will address it with a new version soon.
