# Robots.txt

 * I already have a robots.txt in my root directory and also can find it by typing
   the url “[http://www.dev.seitti.be/seitti/robots.txt&#8221](http://www.dev.seitti.be/seitti/robots.txt&#8221);
   but when i using a Web Developer Checklist which is a extension of chrome browser,
   it cannot find that it exist. So i want to know how to fix it anyway.

   is what I get. What happens if you put the robots.txt at actual site root?

 * If you are using a sub-domain then let me tell you it is not properly configured
   and as a result none of the crawlers are able to access your website.
 * Install WordPress in the Sub-domain properly and then try again, your problem
   will be solved!
