  • Paid $30 to upgrade to pro version 2.4 and used it just fine on my website. It’s seasonal so we didn’t check it for a while. Got two months out of it when he upgraded to a new version — this after I paid for lifetime support — and he disabled somehow the functioning of the plugin we purchased.

    Now he’s up to version 3 and those of us with “lifetime” support and upgrades are totally screwed.

    Your information is just plain wrong, dude.

    First, if you look at the release notes for VFB Pro 2.x, you can see that we’ve released updates to that track after 3.0 came out. Version 2.5 is the latest at the time I write this, so maybe you should check the email you used to purchase the plugin in the first place to get the latest copy. Sounds to me like you ran into the bug that affects WordPress 4.2 that we fixed back in April.

    I’m not sure how a bug, that we fixed, implies we “disabled somehow the functioning”. We can’t even do that and have no interest in doing so.

    Second, I don’t know when you purchased because it seems you’ve never attempted to contact me. But, we have never stated on our website that we provide lifetime support. We don’t charge a yearly renewal fee, if that’s what you are confused about.

    If you had tried to contact us first, we would have been happy to help you. Instead, you claim I’m trying to rip you off or something, which implies that I’m dishonest and that’s just not the case.

    Just read the reviews from everyone, I’m not the only one stiffed here. We’ve gone to a new developer, one who knows what PRO means.
