Software doesn’t work and hoses system. Requested support and they helped but the product still has limited functionality. I requested money back as we switched back to another commerce system and they refused. Stated it was apart of terms and agreement for them to login and try to make it work for you. Seriously? Your terms and agreement is “0” and you need to program each time it doesn’t work? Horrible and unethical!

As I can see from your review you don’t like the refund terms. As you can see in our FAQ (which is available publicly to read before buying any extension) before we can issue a refund you should allow us to help you to solve the problem. As stated in refund therms “refunds will not be granted if you simply decide not to use the purchased products. We stand behind our products and will assist you in solving any problem you have, but we also expect you to adequately understand what you are purchasing and why.”
This is pretty common rule in refund terms used by majority of WordPress premium plugin developers. I also believe it is a fair one.
We will be more than happy to help you to solve your problem. Please, just specify what is not working so we can actually help you or refund 100% of your money.

It is not necessary for us to login if you don’t want it. It just makes the support request to be resolved faster. You can provide screenshots with a description so we can reproduce the problem.
As eCommerce Product Catalog is a free plugin I believe we are talking about one of its premium extensions. If this is right please post a support request thru a support ticket as doing it here may be against WordPress forums rules.

eCommerce Product Catalog is currently actively working on more than 5000 websites without any support requests mentioning that it doesn’t work. We also tested it widely and everything is working fine.
It seems to be very unfair to post such negative review without any specific info. Could you please specify what is not working for you?
As you are clearly not willing to respond or provide details about the errors mentioned we’ve decided to look at our history. It’s really suprising what we found.
I feel that it is important for other users to know what exactly happened here as I didn’t make it clear in the first response.
After buying some extensions from us you asked for the theme integration. The theme integration service was provided immediately without any additional cost (we created a child theme for you). We also made some adjustments to how your theme displays the catalog (also without any additional charge).
After that you asked for payment gateway which was not available at a time of your purchase. We developed such payment gateway in 3 days without any additional cost for you. Immediately after we provided you with the link to the gateway you asked for the refund. Why? Well, you refused to tell…
We never stated that we need to login and try it make work. This is simply a false statement. In fact you never reported any errors at a time of your refund request. What we asked you is to post a support request before asking for a refund or provide a clear reason of your refund request.
Your response was that you don’t have time to provide details. Well, I understand that the time is a scarce resource (also for us) but we also spent time to develop a gateway, provide theme integration and support for you, right?
Now you created this one time bad review account to claim that “Software doesn’t work and hoses system”, which is simpy not true. eCommerce Product Catalog is now actively used on more than 5 000 websites without such issues reported from other users. You also say that we helped you but the product has still limited functionality. Why would you can say such a thing without telling what functionality you have in mind?
You could really understand that software developers are human beings hard working on their products every day. I’m really sorry you felt the need to rate this free plugin so negatively. 🙁 I tried to understand your review and why you asked for a refund after all the job done for you (I read all our correspondence in order to achieve it) but it’s impossible when you assume a good will and fairness.
