# RIN problem…

 * Hi all,
 * I don’t know what happened here. I didn’t edit anything, I just opened my e-mail
   and saw that several readers were having problems in IE.

 * The footer is pulling up into the content and there seems to be a div missing
   somewhere but I’m a NOOB and can’t find it.
 * Any ideas?

   check this link – you have 63 errors on the index page which might be the cause
   of your problems… some tags that aren’t closed properly, etc.
 * and for god’s sake – go to `options->reading` in the admin and reduce the number
   of posts per page… IMO they shouldn’t fall much lower than your sidebar…

 * hmmm… I’ll take your advice and shortne the homepage.
 * On the div that’s missing. I still can’t find it. Most of those errors are small
   and I need to fix them but don’t have time at the moment.
 * I just need to get this current issue fixed ASAP.

 * had you taken the time to look at the link i gave you, you’d have found this.
 * and i hate to break it to you, but all those `<br>` and `<li>` errors COULD have
   something to do with your problem… IE doesn’t play with this stuff nicely.

   issues you’re having with IE.

    - Right, but they weren’t.

    - Yeah that’s what I was seeing because I’m on FF. I was getting e-mails from
      those on IE about everything being pushed down.
