Right Sidebar Not Top Aligning… Not sure why. Help?

Okay, Im attempting to modify an existing theme to work for my own sites design. This is the FIRST time Ive ever done this, and my CSS skills are only moderate. But I think I’ve done fairly well so far.
I have two test WP sites:
This is the site as the original theme looked:

http://dreamsofmidnight.com/DreamsWeDreampt/Ive been able to work out just about all the adjustments I wanted, except that for some reason my right side bar wont align to the top. I tried the suggestion Id found of using:
#content, #sidebar{overflow:hidden}But that didnt seem to work. Ive looked at my CSS code for so long that I think Im just missing something really simple.
