    [ mod note: in future please remember to use the code button to enclose the code so it displays properly - or paste it into a pastebin & link to it ]

    Hi there,

    My site, http://www.thepowerofhealing.ca is under construction, and while trying to insert three tiles onto the homepage (side by side) they have become two next to eachother, and one underneath the first. This is the code I've been using, which my friend wrote up for me.

    <center>
    <div id="tiles">

    <ul>
    				<li id="tile_1" style="opacity: 1; ">
    			<a href="http://yogareiki.ie/service/yoga/"><img src="http://yogareiki.ie/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/yoga-315x320.png" alt="Danielle offers yoga classes to suit all levels. Importance is on the breath, always finishing with a meditation. She incorporates various styles including Ashtanga Yoga, Chakra Yoga, Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow." title="Danielle offers yoga classes to suit all levels. Importance is on the breath, always finishing with a meditation. She incorporates various styles including Ashtanga Yoga, Chakra Yoga, Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. "></a>
    		<span class="arrow"></span>
    						<li id="tile_2" class="selected" style="opacity: 1; ">
    			<a href="http://yogareiki.ie/service/reiki/"><img src="http://yogareiki.ie/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/reiki-315x320.png" alt="During a Reiki Treatment, Danielle treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include feelings of peace and serenity, security and wellbeing." title="During a Reiki Treatment, Danielle treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include feelings of peace and serenity, security and wellbeing. "></a> <p>Reiki</p>

    						<li id="tile_3" class="last" style="opacity: 1; ">
    			<a href="http://yogareiki.ie/service/goal-coaching/"><img src="http://yogareiki.ie/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/goals-315x320.png" alt="Danielle offers private Goal Coaching sessions, which offer you the chance to stop and take note of where you are at, where you want to be and what you need to do to get there." title="Danielle offers private Goal Coaching sessions, which offer you the chance to stop and take note of where you are at, where you want to be and what you need to do to get there. "></a> <p>Goals</p>

    </ul>
    	<div class="declaration">
    		<p style="display: block; ">Danielle offers yoga classes to suit all levels. Importance is on the breath, always finishing with a meditation. She incorporates various styles including Ashtanga Yoga, Chakra Yoga, Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow.</p>
    	</div>
    </div>
    </center>

    Only having started to learn HTML, I know something must be wrong with the code. The end result should look like this site: http://www.yogareiki.ie .

    Any ideas on why the right side of my screen has been whited out?

    Thanks,
    Neal

    the site you are copying is using a static page with a page template (possibly custom made?) for the front page.

    this page template might have totally different formatting ...

    using a tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ might get you more insight into the html/css structure of the original site.
