Support » Plugin: Photo Gallery by 10Web - Mobile-Friendly Image Gallery » Right Click Protection is Lost

  • I notice that when I open my gallery, users are able to right click and save photos I have published. I’ve gone to the options menu, clicked activate right click protection, then saved. Even after this, users can still copy and paste my images. I’ve had the plug in for several months, and just until recently, the right click protections have worked.

    Hi there!

    We are sorry for the trouble. Could you please share a link to a page where we can check this problem? You can use a test gallery with random images, or your existing galleries, whichever is best for you.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for the reply! The link to my gallery is https://nikolauswilliamsphotography.com/home/gallery/

    I can confirm that. I have the same bug with the current version of PhotoGallery. In the lightbox is a right click possible, although this is disabled in the setings.

    for example

    Hi,

    The update will be most likely launched within 1 month.

    Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    OK. this is a long time for a fix of protection, but if it can not be otherwise.

    Why is this thread marked as resolved?

    The issue still exists in the lightbox!

    Hi,

    We will fix this issue in our upcoming versions.

    Meanwhile, please replace the following file with the current photo-gallery/frontend/views/BWGViewGalleryBox.php file.
    the following correction has been made:
    line 644
    <script>
    bwg_disable_right_click(jQuery( ‘div[class^=”bwg_image_wrap”]’ ));
    </script>

    Please let us know if it helps.

    Thank you!

    Have a nice day!

    thanks
    but when I loaded the file, the content of line 644 is: <?php
    should I replace this line?

    I can not find another similar line.
    The best is probably to wait for an update.

    Hi,

    You should just replace the file, nothing else should be done here. Otherwise, you can wait for the update.

    Thank you!

    Have a nice day!

    Sorry, that was a misunderstanding on my part. I overlooked that I should not change the content of the file, but should replace the file.

    I have changed the file now and it works now as it should.

    Many Thanks
