[resolved] right and left padding on Add New Media page (4 posts)

There seems to be padding missing from the upload status bars on Media Library->Add New. When you upload an image, I noticed the status bar for each image now seems to go full-width, but the content of that status bar is right up against the edge, when it seems like there ought to be some padding there. Using Firefox 30 on Linux if that makes any difference.

  2. The white bar does not go full width on Chrome, there's a little gap. Do you mean the green status is touching the edge?

Just to make sure we're on the same page, I'm talking about the Upload New Media page. I'm not 100% sure about green status, mine is red, probably using different themes here, but at any rate, here's what I'm seeing:

While the upload is in progress, the filename is right up against the left edge of the white bar, and the progressbar is right up against the right edge (red in my case, possibly green in yours).

After uploading, there is a small bit of padding on the left side of the thumbnail, and a small bit of padding on the right side of the Edit link, which seems appropriate.

I checked Chrome on Linux and Windows, and the behavior is the same.

  4. Arright! Yes, you mean the 'green' status bar is flush with the end of the white background bar! Same page. My upload was too fast for me to notice!

First World Problem right there ;)

Okay, found it. Yeah, when we didn't have the white BG like that it wasn't an issue. Okay, tossing in a patch and a ticket.

Since there's a ticket, I'm marking this resolved. You can follow the trac ticket as needed :)
