right alignment of socail media icons in header bar

Hi
I have just added social media icons to my header bar by following this tutorial: http://nathaningram.com/tutorials/easy-social-icons-in-the-wordpress-navigation-menu/

but cant work out how to get them to align to the right of the header bar. I have tried changing the margin number and width in the code but it doesn’t seem to be working. Can anyone offer some help?
