rich text editor should I use it or not?

    I’m hearing that the rich text editor creates non compliant code and is not good to use ?

    I should say compliant XHTML CODE after the post is posted..

    What is the verdict, should I use it or not to write blog posts?

    Myself I tought it would be cool to use rich text as it would be more acceptable for Win XP. The problem was when I migrated WP to Linux latter it doesn’t seem to agree with it and changing the format is not an option. It’s a good thing I kept several copies of World Press and the other are not in rich text so I can always run any of the others on Linux.
