Rewriting Source Commands

    I’d like to hack/rewrite the next_post_link, previous_post_link, and the_category commands/tags.

    Would anyone be willing to help me?

    1. I’d like to adjust the next_post_link and previous_post_link commands so that the parameters are simple before and after fields (like those of the edit_post_link tag). Does this make sense?

    2. I’d like to adjust the_category command so that the parent/child relationship is formatted like this:

    child | parent

    instead of:

    parent/child

    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
