    I tried to rewrite URL using the custom post organized hierarchy, por example:

    I have the following custom post created with PODs:
    – Gender -> url (site.com/gender/post_name_slug)
    – Artist -> url (site.com/artist/post_name_slug)
    – Music -> url (site.com/music/post_name_slug)
    – Video-> url (site.com/video/post_name_slug)

    I need make hierarchy for the URL like Gender -> Artist -> Music and the url for music must be something like this: site.com/gender/artist/music/post_name_slug
    or
    site.com/gender/artist/video/post_name_slug

    For the Gender:Pop, Artist: Michael Jackson, music: Bad the url must be:
    site.com/pop/michael_jackson/music/bad
    or
    site.com/pop/michael_jackson/video/bad

    Can you help me to solve this on PODs?

    Thanks in advance!

    Unfortunately, that kind of structure requires custom rewrites that is way outside our scope (or the standard WordPress Rewrite scope, which is what we support at Pods). This FAQ will probably help you out:

    https://docs.pods.io/faqs/change-url-structure-individual-posts-match-taxonomy-terms/

    I’d tried using Custom Post Type Permalinks and with taxonomies for gender and artist and get something. Let me explain.

    I have the following custom post created with PODs:
    – Artist -> url (site.com/artist/post_name_slug)
    – Music -> url (site.com/music/post_name_slug)
    – Video-> url (site.com/video/post_name_slug)

    and the following taxonomies:
    – Genders
    – Artists

    Then with Custom Post Type Permalinks I get something like this:

    -site.com/music/<gender_name>/<artist_name>/<post_name>
    or
    -site.com/video/<gender_name>/<artist_name>/<post_name>

    Is possible but remove post type in the URL to get something like this:
    -site.com/<gender_name>/<artist_name>/<music_post_name>
    or
    -site.com/<gender_name>/<artist_name>/<video_post_name>

    Any sugestions?

    Unfortunately, no. You’re going for an uncommon url structure and as we advise, that’s not in the scope of our plugin and it won’t be. If you’ve tried to do this with Custom Post Types Permalinks, did you approach them with your questions? Because that is in the realm of what they do.

    Sorry, but our FAQ spells out what we will help with in that area because URL rewrites are a mess 😉

    You can’t remove post-type slugs without custom programming and .htaccess changes. If you need something truly that custom, search on WordPress.StackExchange.com

    Thank you for the support Jim. I think we can live with that structure. Now I need to create a page or template for the taxonomies Gender and Artists to show the content related.
