Rewrite spaces to dashes

Hi,

Some of the URLs I am redirecting have spaces in them so they are not redirected to the correct URL.

So, the URL “https://mydomain.com/this is a url with spaces” is redirected to “https://mydomain.com/newpath/this%20is%20a%20url%20with%20spaces” instead of “https://mydomain.com/newpath/this-is-a-url-with-spaces”

I am looking for an easy fix to replaces spaces to dashes while redirecting. Please help.
