Rewrite Media URLs

Hi
I would like to check if it’s possible to keep Rewrite Media URLs “off” but yet the images gets loaded from S3?
I understand that’s not the norm setting but I have a reason to keep the URL pointing to the original server (due to some privacy issues, mother site uses ‘preview’ mode to protect the direct media URL) but yet I want to serve the images through S3.
Let me know if that’s possible.

I am using buddyboss theme and plugin.
Without wp offload media setup, buddyboss has the feature of ‘preview’ to protect the contents from being accessible & downloadable with URL.
But with wo offload media enabled and I set ‘rewrite media URLs’ on, it will change the URL of the media coming from the S3 (AWS).
But S3 privacy has to be set to be public to display them on the site, so any one can view the media and at the same time they can download them via the URL.So it’s a dilemma.
Is there a way that S3 is on for offload media yet to be able to protect the media access like buddyboss preview, so I can maintain the content privacy yet fast load.I saw one of pro-feature
