    Dear Frank,

It seems I need your help again – thanks in advance.

I just realised that the revolution slider we use on our frontpage – http://www.thearcticinstitute.org – is not centering the headlines anymore. Until recently the headlines were nicely centered, now it’s only one line on top of the image.

I have used WordPress’ troubleshooting mode and it seems it’s related to Autoptimize and the plugin being enabled. Any idea what the issue could be? Running the latest WordPress and Autoptimize. Maybe it’s related to a recent W3 Total?

    Thanks again for your help!

Might indeed be due to the latest W3 Total Cache update which seems to have some bugs that also impact AO, so first step would be to temporarily disable W3TC to see if that fixes things?

Yip, seems to be indeed related to the latest W3 Total Cache update (and its interplay with AO). Just disabled W3TC and the headline was centred again.

Mmmmmh, this means what? I guess, reaching out to W3TC to inform them about the issue as it seems to be W3TC related and not per se AO related.

    Thanks for the quick answer!!

reaching out to W3TC to inform them about the issue

when looking at the W3TC support forum there are a number of serious issues there, fingers crossed they’ll release an update fast. you could in the mean time go back to the previous version of W3TC or go for another page cache plugin?

    Thanks for the quick answer!!

you’re welcome, enjoy the rest of your sunday! 🙂

Yeah just checked the support forum myself; apparently not a successful update!!

Do you actually recommend a cache plugin that works well (also with Autoptimize)?

    Thanks, you as well!!

I like WP Super Cache and KeyCDN Cache Enabler (and WP Rocket if you want to go premium, but there are a lot of them out there for you to try 🙂

Thanks for the info – will try one of them instead!!!
