Revising Media Gallery

    I’m using the media gallery included with wp and am having trouble getting new additions to a page’s gallery to show. I uploaded six new images, they show up in the gallery for that page, but they don’t show up online. I’ve tried clearning cache and all that.

    Any suggestions on what I can try?

    I’ve searched the codex and there doesn’t seem to be any documentation on how to use the media gallery that’s now native. Maybe somebody can explain what the mechanism is for handling a gallery of images. It’s clear that images uploaded while editing a specific page remain tied to that page. Where are they stored? I was hoping I could find a folder that I could ftp to if convenient, but there doesn’t seem to be any.

    In order to add more photos to the gallery, I’m afraid I’m going to have to dump the page and start over, a drag since 38 photos had titles and descriptions added and I don’t want to have to re-do. That also will be a drag down the line as new images will need to be added to pages from time to time and I’m hoping I won’t have to be called on to re-do everything.

    Should I just be using another gallery? I tried Gallery2, but thought it way too complex for some of the folks who will end up using it.
