Hi @gusthefish are you using a caching plugin on this site? If so, can you try disabling it and see if that helps? We saw this on one site, where there was a conflict with the caching plugin, but haven’t identified exactly what’s going on.
If disabling the caching plugin helps, can you let us know which caching plugin, so we can try to make it compatible?
If it doesn’t help, can you provide the link to the page where the review submission form is?

Hi Tevya, completely spaced this. No, we’re not using caching plugins as it’s hosted at WPEngine and they handle caching on their side. Makes me think we need to add a cache exclusion for this?

Did a cache exclusion and it didn’t work… got the email, but clicking the link to approve it shows no reviews for approval.

We finally found the actual cause of this issue. It’s fixed in 1.8.9! However, we’ve had some reports of this version causing theme conflicts and such. So at this point we’re recommending that you wait until we release the next version (1.9.0) to update. This update should be available very soon, once we discover what’s causing these issues.
