It looks like the Place ID isn’t saving for some reason. I did just test it on my site and that place ID works for me. Make sure to click the Save Settings button at the bottom again before trying to download the reviews. Also, make sure you have a Location Name and Address entered.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t help either. The pop-up hangs on:
Retrieving Google Business reviews for Place ID: ChIJHyuMnA1SxkcRWTH-I6ofY3o and saving them to your WordPress database …
I have also deactivated the Wordfence plugin and ithemes security and restored a ‘standard’ .htaccess. Also does not work
Check the javascript console for any messages. Right>click on the page > inspect > look for the console window. You can leave that window open when you try the download of reviews.
You’ll need to check the PHP error logs for more info about the 500 error.
