Reviewing an order before sending payment

    I would like to review an order just before a client pays for his order. I would need a hook that fires just after the client chooses a payment method and clicks on “continue to payment”

    I have tried to use the hooks “woocommerce_review_order_before_submit” and “woocommerce_review_order_after_submit” without any access

    The reason for this is that I have stock issues. Customers sometimes order both at the same time on the last item. I would like to redirect them to a custom page if that happens

    What happens if you go on holiday? Or even go to sleep? Will orders just “hang” there waiting for you to confirm them?

    Have you considered using the Hold Stock option instead as found under **WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory**? The returns any stock for an order that isn’t paid – thereby preventing the scenario you described above 🙂
