 * I am new to managing a wordpress website and need to be able to pull up statistics
   for the number of visits to our websites and any additional information (eg engagement
   with pages etc).

 * There are many ways you can do this, but here are two of the most popular:
 * 1 – Jetpack/WordPress Stats – Jetpack is a very popular & powerful plugin from
   Automattic that includes stats.
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/)
 * 2 – Google Analytics. You can use a plugin for this or install the code manually
   in your template.
 * Google Analytics has more powerful stats than Jetpack.
