    Hello,

I am using CusRev together with WPML on my website.
I have noticed that the review reminder emails are not following the delay of 28 days that I set in the settings — instead, they are being sent after only 5 days.

Could you please let me know what the reason for this is, and kindly fix the bug and update the plugin?

Thank you in advance and best regards,

    gifiy

    Hi,

    Thanks for using CusRev.

Can you please share screenshots of the settings page Reviews > Settings > Review Reminder tab?

    Hi,

sure please check pictures below or us the following links:

I created a screenshot each with WPML set to English and one in Spanish. In both cases, the settings remain at a 28-day delay. However, the review reminder is actually being sent after just 5 days.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your additional information.

Can you please share a screenshot of the “Reminders Scheduler” option on the same page? Or screenshots of all settings on the page Review Reminder?

    Hi,

Sure, I have set the language to “All Languages”.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your additional information.

As I can see, you are using the CR Cron to schedule the reminder on our site cusrev.com. If you want to change the delay day, please login to the CusRev dashboard > Reminder > Settings > Default sending delay (days) and change the delay day.
Refer to the solution CR Cron.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response.

However, I’m not sure I fully understand your suggestion. You recommend using CR Cron, but we are already using it. The issue is that the delay setting is not working correctly.

Despite setting a delay of 28 days in the settings, the customer review reminder is being sent after only 5 days. Could you please check this issue again?

What would be the best way to fix this bug?

    Looking forward to your feedback.

    Hi,

This is not a bug. If you use CR Cron, you have to manage the delay day on the CusRev dashboard. It doesn’t use the delay day on the plugin settings page on your site in this case.

    I hope that makes sense.

Got it now! I understand that I need to log in to your website and adjust the settings accordingly.

    Thanks, it should work now!

    Hi,

    I have a quick follow-up question:

Does this also mean that I need to configure the review reminder settings directly on your website? Do I have to define the text and layout there as well?

Additionally, how does the translation work? Will the review reminder be sent in the language that the customer used when placing the order?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi,

Does this also mean that I need to configure the review reminder settings directly on your website?

    Yes, correct.

Do I have to define the text and layout there as well?

It depends on the option you select on the plugin settings page: your site admin area > Reviews > Settings > Review Reminder tab > Verified Reviews.

Will the review reminder be sent in the language that the customer used when placing the order?

Yes, the review reminder will be sent in the language that the customer use on the checkout page. Refer to this solution Integration with WPML.
