It looks real nice, except for the huge white space on the right. It’s below the sidebar menu but it’s so wide it caught my eye.
Thanks. Yea, that sort of bothers me too. I was hoping the archives would drop down the sidebar stuff and maybe put some ads. Any suggestions on anything else that would go well in the white space?
A huge blogroll. *grin*
The site looks nice and clean, though. Great start! (And I commented about The Village.)
Thanks, I’m thinking about a huge blogroll, but don’t want to go overboard. 🙂
(replied also)
As you have a list at the top of recent posts, why not reduce the actual number of posts shown on the front page?
That’s a good idea, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. I’m going to try to experiment with less posts or more recent posts.
Congratulations, i think your site looks great! My only suggestion regards the navigation. The items of your menu ‘grow’ on a rollover, and move the other menu items.
In your CSS, you can make the padding higher on a link, and lower on a rollover link, so that the ‘growing’ does not disrupt the position of the other links.
If you intended for this to happen, then just disregard this!
Again, great job!
Thanks. I wasn’t sure about the links, initially I liked it because it reminded me of a rolodex effect. Not sure if people would find it distracting or annoying to use. Any suggestions?
I tried beefing up the recent post list too.
I really like your blog. Keep up the good work
Three posts a day? Don’t you have a day job?
Seriously, it looks very sleek and clean. May rethink the colour scheme since the only green used is in the header, necessarily for the Hulk.
Thanks for the comments.
I try to do 6 posts a day, but sometimes I get tired. I’m thinking for the next redesign I will figure out a new scheme for everything since I realize now that I’m not bound to green just beacuse of the name.
awww man another celeb trash site…. I just bookmarked it. Btw I like the clean design.
sweet site — love the content — are you pulling feeds from other sites or just getting the pictures and writing up the content yourself?
