    Hi everybody!

    I like to have some comments on the design of my personal blog:

    Unfortunately the content itself is in Dutch, but that shouldn’t make it too difficult to judge the design.. 🙂

    PS: the design is completely mine, if you like it and want to use elements of it: mail me, don’t steal!

    With your comments I can improve the layout, so if you think you’ve got a valuable suggestion: give it! 🙂

    Wow.

    1. It’s the first site I’ve reviewed in months (that I can remember) where everything validates. Good for you.

    2. It’s a splendid use of the dark background with good contrast foreground letters that makes it easier to read. Excellent.

    4. It features a very good use of the fixed background image that is subtle and doesn’t impact or affect the readability. Good.

    5. I like how the single post moves over (no sidebar) to “frame” the background gecko in the corner. Very nice use of the fixed background.

    6. The only two things, I find bothersome is the lack of a link on the title to take you to the full article and the very small letters in the blockquote. A blockquote should stand out, and typically the letters are a little different and a little larger than the rest of the content. The smaller size is really a strain to read. Though the design of the blockquote is nice and subtle, which I like.

    A very subtle but powerfully effective site. Good work.
