 * I have several websites setup as addon domains on the same hosting package. Each
   of these sites has their own WP installation. I’d like to individually backup
   my addon sites using duplicator but the build seems to try to include every file
   in public_html (which makes the total size too large to handle). I’d like to
   limit what duplicator is working with to within a specific director, e.g., public_html/
   mywebsite.com/.
 * I realize I COULD use the filter section to exclude every single other file and
   directory in my public_html except for public_html/mywebsite.com/, but is there
   an easier way?
 * (PS I did search the FAQ and this forum for a bit and couldn’t find a similar
   issue so I apologize if this is duplicated somewhere).
 * Thanks,
    Jon

 * If you have your sites setup such as:
 * > public_html/mywebsite_1.com/(wp site files here)
   >  public_html/mywebsite_2.com/(
   > wp site files here)
 * Then for mywebsite_1.com the root folder should be
 * > public_html/mywebsite_1.com/
 * And Duplicator should only be scanning the files in that directory. Unless your
   host has some type of alias or server separation setting enabled.

 * Thanks for the response, Cory!
 * It sounds like my host might have something going on with the settings on their
   end as you mentioned. To help confirm that, here is some more info if it helps.
   The whole addon domain / sub domain setup is a little over my head so I apologize
   if I sound like I’m insulting anyone’s intelligence here.
 * If “fruits” is my main site…
 * for [http://apples.com](http://apples.com)
    the true url is [http://apples.fruits.com](http://apples.fruits.com)
   the directory is actually at public_html/apples.com apples.com and apples.fruits.
   com will both take you to the same place.
 * Another example (just to be as clear as possible):
 * for [http://bananas.com](http://bananas.com)
    the true url is [http://bananas.fruits.com](http://bananas.fruits.com)
   the directory is actually at public_html/bananas.com bananas.com and bananas.
   fruits.com will both take you to the same place.
 * I’m not seeing anywhere within Duplicator that I can actually change the settings
   so it knows that it should only be looking at public_html/apples.com. So is this
   something I should check into with my hosting?
 * Thanks again for the help!

 * Hey Nightstick,
 * Not sure if I understand what your wanting? to add a directory path you can Goto
   Packages New Screen > Archive Section > Files Table > Check Enable File Filters
   and enter in your directories.
 * Thanks
