• Hi, if I create a reusable block – see Pro V1 box on above page and then want to use that as a basis for a similar item on another page I would expect that using “convert to regular blocks” would break the link between the one inserted on the new page and the original “reusable” block otherwise what is the point of having that option. As far as I can see this doesn’t work since even after choosing “convert to regular blocks” it still appears to update the original reusable block. When you attempt to save the new page you are also prompted to save the reusable block even after you have used “convert to regular blocks”. Am I missing something or is there another better way to achieve what I want eg create a collection of blocks to be used on multiple pages but have the ability to modify them on specific pages.

I have encountered this same issue on 2 different sites both using v6.1.1

    Thanks, Geoff

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It definitely sounds like you’re doing something wrong. Because convert to regular blocks operates pretty much how you would think it does. After you have converted them to regular blocks, they are no longer part of the reusable block. They are separate, normal blocks.

So you’re doing something wrong, but I couldn’t tell you what it is. If it prompts you to save the reusable block, then you didn’t actually convert them.
