• I installed a new theme called ‘news’ on my root folder at my control panel hosting by Mochahost.com. And when I launched wp, it returned this error below, with white page!:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_theme_support() in E:\HostingSpaces\webkash\dailycoolcash.com\wwwroot\wp-content\themes\news\library\functions\sidebars.php on line 26

What happened and what should I do?
    Please treat as urgent.

  • Try switching to the default theme by renaming
    wp-content\themes\news

    to

    wp-content\themes\news-old
using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Then upgrade WordPress before you try re-activating that theme.

The theme needs to be in wp-content/themes folder not root.

@govpatel: check out the error message. The theme is in wp-content/themes.
