Return not working with Images in Editor

    When I enter an image into the editor and hit enter – it doesn’t put the cursor under the image, it puts it down one space, but still to the side of the image. I’ve been plagued by this on numerous WordPress sites and just learned to deal with it. But it jacks up my templates if I don’t make them wide enough to fill the entire post.

    What setting is turned off or not correct? Is it possible it may be related to the front end theme?
