# Retro-fitted theme – post description

 * Hi – I am looking for help on my website mynextlaptop.com where i am using Retro-
   fitted theme. theme is great but after posting, on front page, post content is
   coming as a Paragrapth.. I need those in same way as its in real post.
 * could someone suggest how we can fix it..

 * Additionally, sorry to say, all your links throw up 404. The problem is the theme
   which was last updated on 2011-09-14. It is incompatible with the latest version
   of WP. Can you deactivate all the plugins and revert to Twenty-Eleven so that
   if the theme is the problem, we can know.

 * Kirishna – Sorry about 404 error.. its all problem caused by Better WP Security
   plugin.
    Site is up and running now. could you please look into this now.

 * Sir, not sure why are you going on that link.. its a demo site and that page 
   says no post in that category .. I hope this is clear now

 * the theme seems to be using `the_excerpt()` within the loop of the index page;
 * [http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_excerpt](http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_excerpt)
 * try to locate which template is showing the front page (index.php ?), and replace`
   the_excerpt()` with `the_content()`
 * if you want to restrict the length of the posts, use the ‘more-tag’ [http://codex.wordpress.org/Customizing_the_Read_More](http://codex.wordpress.org/Customizing_the_Read_More)
 * if you need, repeat this for other templates such as archive.php etc.

 * alchymyth – thanks for suggestion. I checked in index.php code and its using 
   the_context() function only.

 * your theme does have a _**home.php **_which will be used to show the front page–
   [http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy)
 * edit _**home.php **_and replace `the_excerpt()` with `the_content()`
