# retrieving API key is stupid

 * WTF is up with trying to retrieve an API key. Once retrieved I goto my **self
   hosted blog**, goto blog stats, then there’s a login screen for **wordpress.com**.
   It won’t accept my login. I registered at wordpress.com, got API, went back to
   self hosted blog dashboard, inserted API key and there’s where it goes to hell.

 * WordPress doesn’t even have a good explanation of instructions for this. I had
   to find a third party for instructions. I will install Statpress plugin, none
   of this sh*t is worth the hassle.
