Retrieve spam comments

    Akismet has deleted 118 of my spam comments without me seeing them, I am new to this and hadn’t notice these comments until yesterday. The comments in spam that I can see some are good comments therefore I would really like to read the 118 that have been deleted by Akismet, is this possible?

    No, once Akismet deletes the spam, it’s gone for good.

    A word of warnings to add though, doublecheck the URL that some of these supposedly good spam comments leave.

    Spam bots are very good at hitting the positive emotions with vague comments, while their only goal is to leave behind a link to their store or otherwise spammy site.

    A good rule to go by, if you don’t want their link on your site, you don’t want their comment on your site.
