Another option would be to try the following:
– Use Google Chrome browser.
– Right-click on the retrieve reviews button and click Inspect.
– That will open a Developer Tools window.
– Go to the console screen.
– Now click the retrieve reviews button, and see if you get any errors in the console screen.
thanks
The latest version should take care of all these issues.
thanks!

@jgwhite33 I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
Hi, the retrieve reviews button still doesn’t seem to work. This is the error: Uncaught SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list in admin.php?page=wp_fb-settings:1
Sounds like something in the review text could be messing it up. Can you try it on another FB page? Are the reviews in english or another language?
thanks,
Josh
Hi, yes, that could be the problem. I tried a test page in English and retrieving the reviews worked, however on my page the reviews are in Bulgarian, written in the Cyrillic script.
Can you send me a link to the reviews?
I think this is fixed in version 2.4 of the plugin. Please check.
Thank you so much for your time and effort! It works now.
