    Hi.
How turn off making @2x.jpg for retina? Or how turn off retina support?
I have a lot of photos in blog and portfolioŠ± theme make a lot of sizes of photo and now they use more 2Gb, but I don't have so much disk space :)
    Thank you

Hey, so from my understanding the theme is retina ready but if you would like retina support you still need to download the plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-retina-2x/
Did you try re-sizing your images?

I'm not really sure what you mean. In the past did you download the plugin for retina support? If you did you would just need to deactivate it.
Sorry I'm not much help! The developer is out of town for the weekend but when he gets back I'm sure he can make more sense of this :)

I only install Virtue theme. No retina plugins.
And i don't need retina on my website. No have so much disk-space on hosting to host all retina-ready images "@2.jpg".

It's part of the theme to support retina for images like the featured image in a post.

If you want to turn it off you have to edit: virtue/lib/aq_resizer.php

    remove lines 155 - 184

This should definitely be a theme option. Let me know if you need help implementing it.
